Routina is a parenting utility app that helps parents build and manage daily routines for their children. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information we collect when you use Routina:
- Email address and display name (via account registration or Sign in with Apple / Google)
- Children's first names and avatar selections (entered by the parent)
- Routine and task content you create (titles, order, descriptions)
- Daily task completion records
- Reward catalogue items and redemption history
- Push notification token (to deliver routine reminders)
We do not collect:
- Real names or photos of children
- Location data
- Payment information
- Any data for advertising purposes
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to:
- Provide and operate the Routina service
- Sync your routines and data across your devices
- Send push notification reminders for routines (if you have enabled notifications)
- Allow you to manage, update, or delete your account and all associated data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google LLC.
- Data is scoped to your account (UID) and is not accessible to other users.
- Firebase applies industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
5. Push Notifications
- Routina may send push notifications to remind you of upcoming routines.
- Notifications require your permission and are delivered via Expo Notifications, which uses Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) on iOS and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android.
- You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
6. Third-Party Services
Routina uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging) — provided by Google LLC. Data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with Apple — subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google Sign-In — subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Expo Notifications — used to deliver push notifications via Apple and Google infrastructure.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs inside the app.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Children's Privacy
- Routina is designed to be used by parents, not children.
- Children do not create accounts and do not directly interact with the app.
- Children's first names and avatar selections entered by parents are used solely to personalise routine management within the app.

- If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Routina after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
